Returns & Refunds
Claims of the Broken Crate β damages, loss and theft
Last updated: October 18, 2026
1. All Sales Are Final β No Returns
Good Morrow Tavern is a wholesale distributor. Goods are purchased from our suppliers and shipped to you as ordered; we do not hold retail inventory for exchange. Because of that, we do not accept returns and we do not issue refunds or exchanges for change of mind, over-ordering, slow sales, unsold product, or buyer's remorse. There are no restocking credits and no store-credit returns.
2. No Return Authorizations
Since we do not accept returns, we do not issue return labels or RMA numbers. Please do not ship goods back to the Guild or to the supplier β unsolicited shipments are refused, are not credited, and may be sent back to you at your expense. The only remedy for a shipment that arrives damaged, lost or stolen is the claim process set out below.
3. What We Do Cover
Two situations are covered. Both are claim-driven, not return-driven:
- Damaged in transit β items that arrive broken, crushed, creased, punctured, water-damaged, or otherwise not in sellable condition.
- Lost or stolen β a shipment with a delivery scan that you never received (porch theft or mis-delivery), or a shipment lost in transit with no delivery scan.
Depending on how much of the shipment is affected, an approved claim is settled as a partial refund (only the affected portion of the order) or a whole refund (the entire shipment destroyed, lost or stolen).
4. Claim Window β 72 Hours
Claims must be submitted within 72 hours of the carrier's delivery scan (for damaged or stolen shipments) or of the expected delivery date (for shipments lost in transit). Once that window closes, neither the carrier nor the shipping insurer will accept a claim, and no refund can be issued.
5. Photographic Evidence Is Required
This requirement cannot be waived β the carrier and its insurer will not process a claim without it, and we cannot file one on your behalf. Your claim must include clear photographs of:
- every side of the outer shipping box as it arrived, showing any dents, punctures, crushed corners, torn tape, water stains or handling damage;
- the shipping label with the tracking number legible;
- the inside of the box with the packing material still in place;
- each affected product photographed on its own, removed from the packaging, with the damage in focus.
Keep the box, the packing materials and every damaged item exactly as they arrived until the claim is closed β carriers may require inspection, and some insurers ask for the packaging or a short video. Do not break the box down, discard it, or repair the goods beforehand. A claim submitted without the box photographs cannot be filed, and partial-refund requests are held to exactly the same evidence standard as whole-refund requests.
6. Filing a Claim
Submit your claim through the support channel in your account and include: your order number, the delivery date, the complete photo set described above, the item names and quantities affected, and whether you are requesting a partial or whole refund. One claim per shipment. The Guild will acknowledge the claim, file it with the carrier and its insurer, and notify you of the outcome.
Please raise a claim with us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute β a dispute filed first can void the claim with the carrier, and we may be unable to refund while it is open.
7. Lost, Stolen & Refused Shipments
Report a lost or stolen shipment as soon as you notice. We will open a trace with the carrier. Because a delivery scan is treated as proof of delivery, a theft-after-delivery claim may require a police report and a signed statement from you, and the refund depends on the carrier honoring the claim. If the carrier closes the trace as delivered, no refund can be issued. Shipments returned to us as refused, undeliverable or unclaimed are not refundable, and reshipping them is at your expense.
8. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved claims are refunded to the original payment method or, where we agree, as store credit. Refunds cover the amount you paid for the affected goods, including their share of shipping and processing. They do not cover your own resale losses, marketplace or platform fees, or lost profit. Vendor membership dues are non-refundable.
9. Wrong or Missing Items
If we shipped the wrong item, or the order arrived short, tell us within 72 hours of delivery with photographs of the box, the packing slip and everything you received. We will correct it by shipping the missing or correct goods, or by refunding the difference. There is still nothing to return.
